You purchased "a product" that was guaranteed for a specified length of time. After that time has passed, the manufacturer has no further obligation to you.I disagree. I have had this situation happen to me and the defectivepart was replaced, no questions asked because the defect that broughtabout the need for the repair occurred within the warranty period.Sending out a defective part does not complete the in-warranty repair.
