New York Times Says ‘Airplanes’ Killed Thousands On 9-11 — Forgets To Mention Islamic Terrorists

Eighteen years ago today, Islamic terrorists attacked America. They killed 2,996 people and wounded more than 6,000 others.

But the New York Times says it was actually “airplanes” that killed all those people.
“Eighteen years have passed since airplanes took aim at the World Trade Center and brought them down,” The Times wrote.

The Twittersphere exploded.

The Times later changed the passage to: “Eighteen years have passed since terrorists commandeered airplanes to take aim at the World Trade Center and bring them down.”
Still no mention that the terrorists were Muslims.
And The Times sent out a post on Twitter that still didn’t mention Islamic terrorists. “18 years after nearly 3,000 people were lost, families of those killed in the terror attacks will gather at the 9/11 memorial. There will be a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., then the names of the dead — one by one — will be recited.”

“We’ve deleted an earlier tweet to this story and have edited for clarity. The story has also been updated,” they wrote.
