Has anyone tried the free 2 GB online storage offer?

I would be happy to answer any questions about it

Hi Mike! My only question is how painful is this gonna be with dial-up? No offense, mind you, I like Copper's dial-up service a lot. But...

Good question lpast.
The amount of time it takes to back up or store your files, photos and music online depends on the size of the file and the speed of your connection. Any type of text documents should be pretty quick and easy to work with. Storing pictures and music will take awhile on dial up.

The nice thing about this service is it is web based so you can upload from any PC that has broadband or when you are at your favorite coffee place that has wifi for the larger uploads. Just having a secure offsite place to store my important documents like my tax return info, my master file with my various passwords and other files I typically backup makes this a ver convenient free service that we are making our members aware of.

Pray SorryAnxious ,
I use NORTONThumbsUp .
It has its own back-up.
Both on line and on My C/drive.
As well as Disk or Stick

Is your "on line" Back up "High/speed" or "Dial-up"Confused ?

The back up service works with either dial up or high speed broadband service depending on how you are connected to the Internet. That's what is so nice about it. You can access it from any PC with any speed or type of connection if the software is installed and you login with your IDrive user name and password. You don't have to be a Copper.net customer to use it.
