A processor that can run a 64-bit OS. The DEC Alpha is 64-bit, and so are Intel's Itanium and AMD's Opteron and Athlon 64 processors. My guess it eitherthe modem has a problem with the V.90/92 implementation or for some reasonit is being inited to disable V.90/92.If you have two modems I'd swap them and see what happens.
