There is a channel for any interest you could have--it is simply a matter of finding the name. You need to use an IRC client to get to the channels, but as long as you have an Internet connection you can get h ISP Glossary:
Internet Relay Chat - probono wrote: What kind of ancient ATMs are you using? It's been YEARS since I had to fill out any form to use an ATM. I simply press DEPOSIT, key in the TOTAL amount of the cash, cheques, money orders, whatever I am depositing, stick the cash etc. in the envelope, seal it and stick it in the slot. In a sec or two, a verification prints out and my card ejects. GET with the times, already! They want you to write your account number on the checks. I'd ratherput in a deposit slip. Bite me.And, from a different message in this thread: ATMs do NOT require deposit slips. Get with the times. Why are dealing with a bank that doesn't have an adequate ATM system? I, for one SELDOM use cash, so I seldom have to USE an ATM. When I DO use an ATM, I simply use the ones at, DUH, what a concept, MY LOCAL BANK BRANCH. Why are you using so much cash instead of credit or debit cards?Because I do most of my serious shopping at yard sales. The ones thattake credit or debit cards are run by professionals and, in addition tothe rotten prices, claim they're obligated to charge 8.25% (our localrate) sales tax; even if we've ridden 10 miles uphill on our bicycles,if we see that the sale is run by the pros we turn around without evenchecking it out -- either there will be nothing we want, or the priceswill be ridiculous. I buy most of my food at small ethnic grocerystores on which I do not wish to inflict the Visa fee. I buy gas atArco, which charges extra for debit cards and doesn't accept creditcards but who always has the lowest prices around.Since getting the Costco/Amex with 1% rebate on everything (I don't goto restaurants and I don't buy gas on credit but if the Costco gasstation were as close as the Arco station I certainly would). I'vestarted to use that card more. It seems to offer no less than the AT&Tcard I've had forever.--Cheers,BevooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooWill give investment advice for food.
