I did.  I cheated.  My indescretion has led me to a path of sin.  Delicious sin.  Chocolate fudge, strawberry Jell-O soaked, Whipped Creme Topped with cinnamon strawberry Sin. 

It was simple really.  My forbidden fruit is a silicone tart pan (I wanted the cake pan but it was about 8 dollars more and I'm on a budget) hanging inconspicuously on an endcap.  Like diamonds, it sparkled in my hungry, yearning desire through the tumulous roguewaves thrashing in my blue-grey eyes.  The ocean of desire flooding in me made it's way to my bitten lip in the form of drool. 

Both spirit and flesh were more than willing as my hand reached up to grasp the blue non-stick silicone tart pan.  'Just the perfect size really.' I thought.  

It had been lingering in my mind...as if someone had been whispering it in my dreamless sleep for many moons of sleep.  Chocolate Strawberry Jello Cake.  Simple recipie really AND Pilsburry Is on sale at the store for 88c a box.. . And I have those delicious strawberries from the farm in the freezer (although fresh is best but again, I'm on a budget) If they dont hold well, I can alwyas puree them and make a sort of......mmm No.  I can't.  I mustn't.  I'm on Metformin! 

The snake made it's way up to me nonchalantly.  Harmless really.  (Actually it was a customer eyeballing the silicone muffin pan in snake skin boots...is this the definition of ironic??) Remember when you were warned in sunday school not to converse with the devil?? LSITEN NEXT TIME YOU STUPIDASS!!! came ringing in my ears like an invisible airhorn in the ear of a telemarketer. 

Not that I do that.. .

"Were you really told not to eat sugar on this medication?"  Am I having deja Vu'???

I eyeballed the blonde yuppie in boots.  "Yep.  You can't have sugar, or even chocolate like you used to on this medicine...it's complex carbs for me from now on."

She scoffed.  " I'm on Glucaphage (it's the brand name for metformin, I'm not stupid) "and I'm baking-and partaking- Holiday cookies this year.  That silicone nonstick pans work miracles, dont they?  The baked goods come right out nice n' smooth dont they?"  she pointed to the pan.   

Needless to say.  The 21 day feast is broken.  It was Alkaline Lost.  I'm waiting for the Jell-O to affix to the cake now.. .

And the chocolate coolwhip is awaiting topping.
