Is there a way I can determine if it's a configuration issue or the modem has coincidently gone bad? Dan Did you install it with the file I referenced above, or did Win2K use some generic driver? Does it pass the modem diagnostics? That is an OEM modem, so the OS may not have the specific driver/inf file that it needs to properly install the modem.
