As I understand, they bet on the reportedly very highnumbers of inconstencies in credit reports, plus their clients paying forthe convenience of having all credit-related stuff in one place.If you have nothing to correct, or correct not from their web page, thenit's free.By the way, another interesting feature they have (also for free) is sendingyour credit report by your request to someone who wants to check your creditreport - a lender etc. - , so you avoid paying for your own report, if any.I don't think there are many lenders who would agree though.M.p.c. indeed looks very much "too good to be true", plus their absolutelyinsane "credit care unlimited" plan, obviosly for heavily paranoidindividuals; plus their "affiliates"; but as I said, I had them for 8months, and never a penny.
