ISP Information:
Any application that is critical to the proper running of a business. If this application fails for any length of time you may be out of business. For example, an order-entry system may be considered mission critical if your business relies on taking lots of orders. You don't want your mission critical apps running on junky hardware ... or software for that matter. ISP Glossary:
Mission Critical Application - Greetings,Here is a clip from a Dan Gillmor article that may be of interest. Are we in a 'post-broadcast culture'?Is there a tectonic shift happening here or just more 'technologywill save us' wishful thinking?-het2004/01/11: DanGillmor: Democratizing the Media, and MoreThe broadcast culture assumes that most of us are "consumers" of massmedia. There's a world of difference. http://weblog.siliconvalley.com/column/dangillmor/archives/001654.shtml"The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting forour wits to grow sharper." -Eden PhillpottsPV FAQ: http://www.autobahn.mb.ca/~het/energy/pv_faq.htmlH.E.
