ISP Information:
Any type of disk media which is not rigid. Often it's contained in hard cases, which can lead to confusion in identification. Commonly, the term is used to describe 1.44 MB 3.5 inch diskettes, but it applies to any media. Zip disks, for example, are floppy in nature if removed from their casing. ISP Glossary:
Floppy disk - "Albee Kuminova" wrote in messagenews:412ABFE1.CD7DE091@yawwhoo.com... What is the best way to clean a television tube screen. One tv is a Sony XBR maybe close to 20 years old. Another is a 12 year old Sony XBR squared. 3rd is a 13" stereo Toshiba tv with built in DVD. Best Buy and Circuit City say Monster Cable tv screen cleaning kit for 20 bucks is only way to go. In the past we've used windex with ammonia sprayed on paper towel. Toshiba says use Windex without ammonia. I can't get through to Sony. It's very confusing. What IS a good, safe way to clean a dusty tv screen?Ammonia is only bad for screens, lenses, eyeglasses that have a non-glarecoating on the surface. Ammonia strips that stuff off. If the screensdon't have a non-glare coating, I don't see what's wrong with regularWindex; It's just glass, after all. I use Windex on my TVs. If wary, thenany $3 bottle of computer screen cleaner or wipes should do... they're justabout all alcohol based; not ammonia based. I'd like to know what miraclecleaning agents are supposed to be in the Monster cleaner to justify it's$20 price.
