ISP Information:
The PGA socket into which a 486 class chip plugs. ISP Glossary:
Socket 3 - I'm glad you had a better experience. The bottom line is that I can'tuse their mp3s with OS 9. They could have realized that I can't usetheir product and voided the sale. Instead they just kept the money anddidn't even think they were in the right enough to be honest about it....Todd Copeland wrote: "David" wrote in message news:418E9485.8050905@yahoo.com...I decided recently to try buying mp3's from walmart.com. I turned outthat I (for various reasons, including how old my computer is) couldn'tuse the mp3s because of the "digital rights" software and I missed thenotification as I was going along. I caught the problem after I hadclicked to accept to sale but before I had actually downloaded themusic. I called them and they refused to refund my money. They thenclaimed it wasn't possible for them keep me from downloading the musicif they were to refund my money (which can't be true given that they areable to prevent me from downloading after the permitted time period theyallow, let along that servers don't work that way). I had the complete opposite experience when I downloaded 1 mp3 from them. I wanted a song that I could not find elsewhere and thought I'd try walmart.com just to see what it was like. $.89 for an mp3.... I could afford to take the chance. I noticed that several of the songs I looked at were listed incorrectly. That is, the wrong song played as the sample. After I figured out which one I wanted, I downloaded. I also sent an email to walmart.com to let them know of their incorret listing. Their response was that it would be corrected, and they would be crediting my card for the purchase I made. They actually took the time to track my order via email address. I did not ask for a credit, I was only pointing out the incorrect listings. I thought they provided good customer service. Anyway... I don't see what your problem is. Once you download the song, you can pick up the digital rights at anytime. So you simply need to play the song using MS Media Player. I don't see how an old computer would pose a problem. Just how old are we talking?
