Gunning Transceiver Logic Plus - More attractive, Harry? That's definitely due to 2.4 gig. Unfortunately, with repeated use of my 900 mHz models, I am now indistinguishable fromElmer Fud :o)--Regards,Anthony GiorgianniThe return address for this post is fictitious. I just did a similar test. I pulled out the backup battery and disconnected the power to the base unit. The 4 phones running off the base all beeped within a minute, but not at the same time. This reinforces the polling theory. Restoring power caused a similar beep report from around the house. Also within a minute but with a little more time between each phone. The OP didn't say what brand phone. I'd imagine they don't all work this way. Funny thing though... I too have not become any smarter since installing the phones. However, I get more attractive each time I use one.
