lamer, lammer - I just bought this modem because the price was right and my older USR modemis not plug and play and difficult to install under W2K.On average, when connecting to my ISP, the new modem does a lot more "handshaking" before connecting, and it frequently does not achieve a connection.When it does connect, it will frequently hang up at some point shortly afterit connects. When it does stay connected for more than 30 minutes, it seemsto be stable and operate as well as the old one. Does anyone have anythoughs what the connection problems could be? I downloaded the latest USRdrivers.
