This is SCSI that communicates twice as fast as standard SCSI-2. Normal Ultra-SCSI transfers data at 20MBps, and Wide Ultra-SCSI transfers data at 40MBps. Similar to Ultra-IDE, Ultra-SCSI works its magic by transferring data on the up AND the down stroke of a clock cycle, doubling throughput.
