This slot accepts a PGA chip. A form of chip with a group of pins in concentric rectangles, designed to fit into a PGA slot. x86-compatible chips that fit into socket 7, socket 370, and Super 7 are designed in this format, as are newer sockets such as AMD's Socket A and Intel's Socket 423 and 478 for its Pentium 4 chips.

They also claim the information is onlycollected the first time the client is run.Big deal? Depends who you ask and how paranoid they are.
