I've discovered a lot of times that brand name makes a difference. Recent examples: I bought store brand adhesive bandages instead of Band-Aids, saved like a buck a box but the store brand stays stuck on your boo boo only about 3 minutes before falling off. Also, our grocery store was out of Stuoffer's Lasagna, so I bought the store brand. It had like 1/10th the cheese that Stouffer's puts on theirs plus the sauce tasted like battery acid. Gross. We ended up throwing it out. We "saved" like $3 on that lasagna. Also, I bought some generic safety razors that weren't even capable of removing any hair at all from my beard. Cheap junk abounds in "values".I've found that "store" brands are really hit and miss. I will try astore brand if its cheep enough, and sometimes it's good, sometimes it'sbad, especialy with things like raviolli or any type of canned meat.
