The scroll lock key is, for most, a way to turn the "scroll lock" light on and off on your keyboard and nothing more. The scroll lock key was intended to function as a third "state" key, such as the Caps Lock and Num Lock keys. Some software makes use of it, but most does not. Some people mock the scroll lock key, but we seek ways to unleash its power! :P ISP Glossary:
