When the signal isnot existant the person trying to talk to someone gets a "user unavailable"message.However, when the signal is weak, the person talking thinks their signal isgetting through but all the receiving person hears is dead air, clicks, andgarbled unreadble noise. Since Nextel was the only one to offer this type ofservice, people were forced to put up with this poor excuse for a cell phoneservice.
