For you, maybe. In June I ordered a DVD and two copies of a CD, both listed as in stock, for free shipping. About the expected ship date I got an e-mail that there was an unspecified "problem" with the DVD and it would ship a couple of weeks late. I had a similar experience. I ordered Alphaville's "Stark Naked and Absolutely Live" CD. When the estimated arrival date came and went, I wasn't too worried. It was just an estimate. A week later I checked the site. It hadn't even been shipped yet. I wrote Amazon asking about the matter. I got a lot of run around and canceled the order. I ordered the CD from a local store (CD Warehouse) and got it six days latter. Amazon's charge was around $17.00. The store charged me just under $13.00. I only use Amazon if there is no other way to get something. They cost more and delivery takes longer.Welcome to the club. I no longer use them for anything.....they're not worththe heartburn they usually cause.
