Do you think I damaged it's PC board somewhere ?I'm sort of thinking in terms of: "the modem recognised that it was alreadyjuiced with DC so it didn't need to do any further conversions". Of coursemy limited electronic knowledge may make that wishful thinking only,and if the modem wasn't a dud to start with, it's certainly screwed now. ??
