It requires a high degree of compression to transfer audio or video (or both) at 28.8 Kbps or 14.4 Kbps speeds and still retain quality music and non-jerky video. If stereo sound is desired, there is a trade-off in the sound quality. These technologies are continually improving and the sound a ISP Glossary: streaming audio, streaming video - The Compusa warranty booklet states: "Obligor will assist you inunderstanding your...plan benefits from the day you purchase theplan."Either Compusa did an inadequate job of 'assisting me in understandingmy plan benefits' or they are not living up to them. I would not havepurchased an extended warranty from Compusa if I had understood thatthe current situation was consistant with the warranty. Toshibaoffered longer coverage for less money and they would not have handledmy situation like this.In my opinion the three alternatives to repairing my computer were notconsistant with the "plan benefits" so I declined them. I would notaccept an inferior new machine. $750 cash won't buy a notebook with amobile processor and uxga display. I would accept a replacement 5105S607 that is refurbished by Toshiba and eligable for their warranty.This would ensure the machine is not bought from a private individualon ebay.I turned in the computer on January 3rd.
