Cluster - I own a Ducane natural gas grill that has been flawless for over 10years. My neighbor has a Ducane propane grill that's about 5-6 yearsold and other than having to replace the tarp cover this spring, it'sbeen flawless.Ducane seems to cost a little bit more than some of the other brands, but it seems to be a lot better made.Of course, that's just my 2 cents...On Fri, 16 Jul 2004 16:02:21 -0500, "Tony" wrote:I'm looking to purchase a gas (propane tank) grill to replace a Sunbeammodel I have now. The problem with the existing unit is that it does notheat evenly--I literally have two large plumes of flame in the center of thegrill and then almost no flames on the outer portion of the grill. (I'vereplaced the burner twice since I've had it (about 5 years)).We use our grill frequently (1-3x per week) year round. I don't have theability to have a permanently installed unit. I keep it in the garage androll it out when it is needed.I need some recommendations on what to purchase. In my area (Pensacola,FL), it seems that the only places to get these units are Lowes, Home Depot,Sears, etc. I'm not aware of us having any kind of store that caters tojust this product line.I'd like to get something that will last. I'm planning to spend in the $600range. Less would be great. More, if necessary (but not much more). Here's some particulars:*I'd love to be able to have a unit that would allow me to use wood chips toadd to the flavor of the grilled items.*I don't need a sideburner, fryer, etc. (although that seems to be standardanymore). Rotisserie might be useful.*I want something that will last.Lowes sells both Jenn-Air and Coleman grills that seem to be appropriatequality and price. Can anyone either give me recommendations or point me to a web site thatwould assist in the selection process? Thanks.Tony
