ISP Information:
Acronym for Resource Description Framework. A formal data model from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for machine understandable metadata used to provide standard descriptions of web resources. It uses eXtensible Markup Language (XML). It is similar in intent to the Dublin Core, although perhaps broader in its scope and purpose. See the W3C RDF Page for further information. ISP Glossary:

That will show | whether the modem is going into retrains, running into excessive errors, and | so forth. Do this in Hyperterminal, or some other terminal program ofyour | choice. | To do a proper uninstall and re-install, you will want to pick up a copy of | wmregdel.exe at the USR support pages. Then you do an uninstall, run | wmregdel.exe, shut down, remove the modem from teh computer, and bootback | up. Make sure the modem is gone from Control Panel/Modems and Device | Manager. Then shut down, re-insert the modem, and boot back up. Use the | original CD/floppy to install the software needed. You may need to runthe | Install.exe from the disk before shutting down and re-inserting themodem. I've did that, but I used drivers for USR Winmodem from Win98 SE CD (Idon't have originalCD) and it seems that works again the sam as before "the upgrade" - I can access the Diagnostics tab now and connect to Internet, but speed is almost 0 (see below). The wierd thing is that sometimes in the status line I see "Opening page www.www.ht.hr.edu" instead of the address I typed www.ht.hr (without extra www and .edu at the end). What can that be?That one is beyond me. Does the Home page, as typed, come up withoutproblems when you startup the browser? When I click on the www.ht.hr youtyped above, I get a page with the modified (by the site) address ofhttp://www.ht.hr/en/index.shtml which is fairly normal. Ping and tracert commands don't work either ("host unknown").Unless you have some kind of virus changing the URLs after you type them, this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. A valid URL should return avalid ping response or timeout and not a "Host unknown". That is a failureon lookup and a function of the ISP (to lookup the IP address for the URL). | Once you get to a stable position in regards to the software/firmwarethen | check the performance. If still bad, collect the data I requested above | (ati6i11) and post it here. When I open HyperTerminal and choose to connect direct to COM2 (wheremodem is registered), nothing is seen on the screen when I type.On the otherhand,That's normal, you have to reset Echo commands with ate1 to see yourcommands as you type them. The commands will work even if you cannot seewhat you are typing, by the way. when I choose winmodem and dial my ISP, it asks from me username and password and connects, but no AT commands can be issued then...
