ISP Information:
A means of executing a group of instructions within a program. Many programs offer the capability to put together macros so that you don't have to do the same group of repetitive instructions one by one. You can program the macro to do any number of instructions. Many programs allow you to extend the simple macro languages that they provide with other, more complex programming languages.
