This is not an error, as "fault" would usually indicate. It simply means that the computer had to resort to using the swap file as memory. If you are getting a lot of page faults you should upgrade your system's memory. ISP Glossary:
Page Fault - I told everyone here about a week ago about the phone call I hadreceived from Kyle M. Kulzer ( mailto: kkulzer@frankandrosenlaw.com ), anattorney with the firm of Frank and Rosen with offices at 8380 OldYork Road, Suite 410, Elkins Park, PA 19027, phone 215-935-1000. Inthat phone conversation, Kulzer had demanded that all references tohis client Norvergence, Inc., 550 Broad Street, Third Floor, Newark,NJ 071202 be removed from our archives, particularly those referenceswhich Kulzer deemed derogatory toward his client and their pendinglitigation as plaintiff against defendant David O. Rodriguez, whoresides at 1601 South Highland Avenue #3, Fullerton, CA 92832.Although Kulzer's promised fax never did arrive (darn thoseundependable free efax to email services, anyway!), Kulzer followedup by mailing to me personally, care of my Post Office Box 50 herein Independence a *complete* (as far as I can detirmine) copy ofNorvergence's complaint against Rodriguez. It's just as well thefax never got here; what arrived in the mail today at my PO Box wasabout fifty pages worth of cover letter, and complaint filed in UnitedStates Federal Court, District of New Jersey, where it is a **publicdocument** filed under Docket 03 (cv) 5433 (PSH) November 18, 2003,Norvergence vs. Rodriguez. It would have choked the fax machine.About fifty pages long, it alleges in six counts, with five exhibitsmarked 'A' through 'E' what Norvergence claims is wrong. The exhibitsinclude Norvergence's filing with the Patent Office; a copy of Mr.Rodriquez' signed employment agreement (what was expected of him, therate of pay he would be given along with 'perks', and the all-important non-disclosure agreement regards company secrets, etc whichRodriguez signed); a copy of the mysterious email which circulatedaround the net authored by Dola Duncan ( mailto: doladuncan@hotmail.com )which Norvergence purports (as a result of their internal investigation)was actually authored by Rodriquez; copies of their termination ofemployment papers which they allege Rodriquez refused to sign (indeed, his signature is not present on the form); and for the fifth and finalexhibit, printed out copies ofhttp://mirror.lcs.mit.edu/telecom-archives/telecom-archives/TELECOM_Digest_online/1140.htm Message title: 'Norvergence SOHO Matrix is Fraudulent'where statements about Norvergence appeared, which included in aparaphrased manner some of what 'Dola Duncan' said in the earlieremail. Among the exhibits and the 'exit agreement' which Rodriguezrefused to sign is a schedule of the corporate accounts upon whichwhich the man had commissions payable to him.If you will read through the email and the paraphrased version of itas appeared in the Digest, you'll note Dola Duncan's allegations that'Tom Salzano who was barred (by FCC/FTC?) from running any telecomm-unications company is in fact running Norvergence'. (FCC/FTC readers, did you note this allegation?)As I stated on the phone to Kyle Kulzer, and implied in earliermessages here in this Digest, I am disinclined to remove messages fromour 22-years plus archives. If requested to do so by MIT, my hostsite, I would give it much thought, but in all probability simplyremove the Digest to some other location. But in specific answer toMr. Kulzer, via a copy of this email, my answer is simply NO, I willnot remove the messages his client finds offensive. And thus far, MIThas been totally silent on the matter. In fact, I have referred this whole matter to my counsel for anyfollowup which is needed. I fully expect I will get sued by Norvergencefor exercising this free speech, and I encourage Mr. Kulzer to do ashe feels best. Any reader who wishes to contribute to my legal defensefund is invited to do so. All I can send you as a 'premium' for yourdonation this month is a complete set of the papers given to me byMr. Kulzer, including the legal service provided to Rodriguez andthe various exhibits, all *public documents* since they were filed inthe federal court. Copying and postage will cost about ten doll
