Wheel Mouse - On Tue, 01 Jul 2003 22:12:35 GMT I replied to "Dave C." on a piece of toilet paperwhile scribbling their name and phone number on the bathroom wallin alt.consumers.experiences You know what all this stems from? It comes from our citizens REFUSING to take responsibility unto themselves for what they do to their bodies. Is it McDonalds fault that some fat ass walks in and gobbles 5 quarter pounders for lunch? Is it Kraft's fault that some idiot eats 5x the suggested serving? Is it Marlboro's fault because(snip)I agree with most of your points here. However, the "suggested serving"doesn't mean much. It is deliberately too small on many products. Forexample, many 12oz cans of soda contain two complete servings of soda, supposedly. C'mon now, who drinks HALF a can of soda and then throws therest away? That's just one example. -DaveThat's how the FDA requires them to do it.
