This tracks the depth of each triangle in a 3D graphics representation, from the perspective of the viewer, to ensure that objects behind other objects in a scene don't appear until the viewer has them in his or her line of sight. This is why you can't see through walls to what lies behind, but why you can play multiplayer Quake and have people at many different areas in a level. ISP Glossary:

The only way the bank couldclear them any quicker would be to use a time machine or hirepsychics. You said it. The next business day after = later than instantaneouslywhen the checks you write clear.MOST of my holds are the next business day after, but not all. And Ihave no control over which ones clear at what time. Sorry to burst your bubble (again) but all those "instantaneously cleared" transactions show up as "pending" in my account, as do the deposits I might have made during the day. That night, EVERYTHING outstanding gets posted and the true balance available is updated. However, note that it is common practice for banks to process withdrawalsagainst your account first and credit you any deposits last. There's lots of money in banking fees.Zuma I've not found that to be the case. There's no money to be made in driving your loyal customers away by such shoddy, predatory practices. Apparently you deal with a truly bottom-feeding bank. No, but on the other hand, I have never bounced or kited a check in allthe 24 years I've been with my bank. Not once. I am always surprised atthe number of people who have. I was just taught to be very careful aboutfinancial stuff.I got that tidbit from a couple of different consumer magazines.Zuma
