A connection standard for linking a video card and a display that requires a digital signal, such as an LCD panel. Analog video signals can also be used with the DVI interface. It has 24 pins, 12 for each channel. A single channel can handle 1600x1200 resolution at 60Hz. Dual channels can do 2048x1536 or even higher resolutions. ISP Glossary:
