ISP Information:
A 32-bit extension of a 16-bit ISA slot. This architecture predated PCI and allowed users to break the bottleneck that occurred when the ISA bus slowed down graphics speed. It allowed speeds of up to 40MHz, compared to ISA's measly 8.3MHz. The fact that it had twice as many pins to transmit data helped out as well. VL-Bus was big on 486-66 machines when it first came out, but was quickly displaced by PCI. PCI cards have ISP Glossary:
VESA Local Bus - A website recently ran a promotion. They would offer a prize to the personwho brought in the most registrants to their discussion forum.A bribe, in other words. There was only one rule: One sign-up per person. If anyone was caughtcreating multiple identities, they would be dropped. If the contestant wascaught doing that, they would be eliminated from the competition.I decided to offer a prize for everyone who sign-up there, using me as thereferral.A bribe, in other words.I won the contest. The website announced me as the winner, and sent me a'congratulations' e-mail.A few days later, the website discovered what I had done. Even though Ibroke no rule, the website called me a cheater in public, and disqualifiedme. Is this proper or legal? Can a website invent rules after their contestended, and the winner announced?
