ISP Information:

A protocol-independent structure used by early Novell NetWare clients. It provides support for simultaneous connection to multiple network protocols, much like Microsoft's NDIS did back in the 16-bit client days.
ISP Glossary:

ODI - As someone who has developed software using Amazon.com's programmingresources, I received an email from Market-Research@Amazon.com asking me tocomplete a survey about my experience and promising a gift certificate incompensation for my time. This isn't an unusual offer. I typically get acouple of these a month from various companies.I completed the survey and the web site indicated that I would receive thegift certificate via email. Days have passed and no email has arrived.Since the above email address doesn't receive inbound mail, I contactedAmazon.com customer service. They have told me (in summary) that they outsource their market research to"your2cents" and that I should contact them. I did this. Repeatedly. Theywon't reply to my emails. Amazon has essentially said "too bad. Take it upwith them."I think this is rather dishonest since the email I received clearlyrepresented the research was for Amazon and all the email related to theoffer came directly from Amazon. This isn't worth my time perusing, but itreally ticks me off when companies do this kind of thing. I've had severalbad experiences over the years when companies outsource an element of theirservice and then are deaf to customer support issues. I expected better ofAmazon.Look at the info below and tell me how I'm supposed to believe that theemail below came from any company other than amazon.com? It clearly did,but Amazon says that this was done by another company and they're notresponsible.Return-path:Received: from mm-out-1001.vdc.amazon.com (iad-fw-global.amazon.com)by barracuda.iqthost.com (Spam Firewall) with SMTP id DA771D0011F2for ; Wed, 18 Aug 2004 20:11:28 -0400 (EDT)Received: from mail-app-2003.iad2.amazon.com by mm-out-1001.vdc.amazon.comwith ESMTP(crosscheck: mail-app-2003.iad2.amazon.com )id i7J090XY001737; Wed, 18 Aug 2004 17:09:06 -0700Received: by mail-app-2003.iad2.amazon.comid AAA-batch-13196,844; 18 Aug 2004 17:06:43 -0700Date: 18 Aug 2004 17:06:43 -0700Message-ID: <.AAA-batch-13196,844.1092874003@mail-app-2003.iad2.amazon.com>X-AMAZON-TRACK: batchFrom: "Amazon.com" X-ASG-Orig-Subj: Amazon.com Needs Your AdviceSubject: Amazon.com Needs Your Advice
