Most commonly, this is a segment of memory claimed by a program. Within the heap, pieces of memory can be used and freed as needed. Depending on usage, heaps can become fragmented as small pieces of memory are used and freed. In formal computer science terms, a heap is the same as a partially ordered tree.

The entire system is configurable for eachindividual user (my personal filters are VERY aggressive).While you may be frustrated with the list maintainers, your complaintshould be with the administrator of the site you're trying to email.It's their choice to use the list that's negatively impacting theiremail system. At the least you should be able to get them to whitelistyou.
