We have our normal house phone which we pay about $40 monthly . It' s a package that includes local and regional calls and 5cents per min. for long distance. ( I think they count on confusing people). Now we also have 2 cell phones which I pay about $ 85 per month. I use the cell for all long distance and alot of local because of the convienence. So, I'm basically paying twice. I've thought of switching to track phones. I'm not ready to cancel my land line. What do you folks think on this matter. Which is the most economical without sacrificing all the convienence. I just feel like I'm being ripped off. Thanks alot, ChrisIts really a matter of personal preference. My cell phone agreement withVerizon is due to expire at the end of this month or next. When thathappens, I plan to cancel my Verizon cell phone service and my Verizonresidential service and get Voice of IP phone service to use over mycable modem. This should save me about $50 a month. A few months afterI signed up for Verizon cell phone service, my employer gave me a Nextelphone so I have no need for a personal cell phone any longer.
