ISP Information:
Some scanners support 48-bit color, which offers the ability to identify over 281 trillion (2^48) colors. Such color differences may be imperceptible to the human eye, but as scanner DPI levels increase it helps keep colors more accurate. ISP Glossary:
48-bit color depth - Ummmm....the logic you are employing is circular at best, Stan!IF Wal-Mart has the "lowest prices around" (probably true), then it ispretty much a red herring to say "Well, well, uh, *IF* they had alamer return policy, it would be EVEN LOWER!"Well, maybe, theoretically.....But the reality as it stands is that their prices are probably BETTERthan everyone else's, PLUS they have a great return policy. Thus, inTHE REAL WORLD, it is usually much more efficient to go THERE thanjust about anywhere else, if you are buying something where there isthe slightest chance you will want to return it.Stan Brown wrote in message news:... That's their prerogative, and they build that flexibilityinto the prices they charge.Note the last line, saying in effect, "if a merchant has a liberalreturn policy, you end up paying for it."One flaw, though: Wal-Mart usually has the lowest prices around. How is that a flaw? The prices could be lower still if the return policy were less liberal, no? There are other ways in which we end up paying for the policy: longer lines at the returns counter, for instance.
