This generally refers to memory chips or motherboards that support the checking for, and possibly correcting of, memory errors in full-parity memory chips. ECC memory uses some extra memory on the memory chips for parity information, and checks to see whether a memory error has occurred. True, the manager of the store should have been a littlesmarter and since this person was a regular customer, should have offeredhim a free pie. But he didn't. So, he can continue to be a customer thereand complain on this newsgroup continuously or he can move on and order hispizzas elsewhere. It's a universal thing now that customer service is almostnon-existant.
