ISP Information:
An old protocol for remotely logging in to another computer. It is one of the basic utilities for TCP/IP, and is available in Windows, UNIX, and Linux at the command line. If you are using telnet, you should consider using SSH instead, as it has the same functionality but encrypts the data that is sent back and forth.
