ISP Information:
A control that doesn't directly cause a physical change in something, but rather sends a signal that a processor interprets. The processor then makes the change. An example of a digital control would be a television set with buttons instead of knobs. See also Analog Control. ISP Glossary:
Digital Control - My parents visited me in San Francisco, CA and rented a car from Payless rentalto travel California, Las Vegas, Grand Caynon, etc. When we were about to pay our estimated rental cost of $260, rental agent said,we have to pay $1 per mile we used (2900 miles) since we violated State onlyusage rule. (can't go outside Cali)In one of initial that my father made,it does say, we can only drive within California but$1 per mile contract was shown to us when we returned the car. When we rented a car, they never even asked us where we are going and now theyare trying to make a fortune ...We tried to stop the payment on credit card but they can't do anything about it,even reporting it as lost card wouldn't do it since we already authorized thepayment to this car company. Is there anything we can do?Manager they referred me to see is not avail. tomorrow and I have to see him onSunday morning.Should I just rely on negotiation? If so, what's the reasonable target?Or should I just try to find some lawyer for this case?I think it's partly our fault since we didn't read yellow slip completely butcharging $1 per mile on every mileage seems very unreasonable as price shows...Please help us.you can email me back or call me650 346 4278Jae
