"You know", he said, "it would be a better place to work too". It is interesting that RS has changed their policy. From the web page http://corpinfo.radioshack.com/CompanyInfo/Ethics/index.html "We've stopped the practice of asking for your name and address on every purchase at your local store!" Not only do they seem to have changed the policy, but they recently made a big deal of it in their advertising. I do get somewhat discouraged by the intrusiveness of some companies and the fact that most people don't seem to care much. So what was it that caused RS to change their policy? gcSeveral years ago I went to my local R.Shack for some minorcomponents. At the cash register the clerk asked for my name, ofcourse. "Just put me down as 'cash'" I replied. Just as he'd done tomany other customers, I'm sure, he asked "Would that be Johnny Cash?".We both had a good laugh and he took some of the edge off that littleintrusion the R.S. HQ boys were putting us both through.Al
