Anything that filters out network traffic based on a sender's address, receiver's address, and the type of protocol being sent. Some routers support packet filtering, all firewalls do, and some proxy servers do as well.

Packet Filter - Hello all, sorry for not registering but i�m getting desperate about this issueSome time ago i installed the 56.56 video driver that came in the battlefield vietnam CD(first video driver installed) and since then i have been having some problems in my computer, mainly it resetting when entering a game or randomly on the internet explorerI�ve asked around and i was suggested that this could be due to video card overheating but this sudden reset has also happened barely 5 minutes after i turned on my computerAnyone can help?(I have also installed the 61.76 and 66.93 video drivers)
