ISP Information:
A paste that is applied between a microprocessor and heatsink. This paste fills in any tiny gaps that may be present on the visibly flat surfaces of the microprocessor package and heatsink. Without thermal compound cooling may be less efficient, as the heatsink and microprocessor package may have air gaps between them. Thermal compound has much more efficient heat exchange properties than air. ISP Glossary:

When was the last time you looked at your TV set and seen a label that doesn't say Made in Taiwan ? The back of my Sony Trinitron TV says Made in USA. Starting with raw materials, the glass tube was manufactured by "American Video Glass Company". The engineering & manufacture of the set as a whole was done at a Sony technology center located in New Stanton, Pennsylvania.' Take the entire tv apart and you will find at least one part that wasn't made in "america". Of course. But what's your point? Sony's large screen Trinitron product line is fully engineered in the U.S., a majority of components are fromthe U.S., and they are assembled in the U.S. Because a few circuit boards are perhaps from Japan means what?If you read back a few posts in this thread, the person I was replying tostated that Wal*Mart doesn't carry any products "made in america". Sufice tosay, nothing is 100% made in america, so his efforts to point that "error"on Wal*Mart's part for products is just to be spiteful. You've strayed very far from your original implication of all Televisions being made in Asia which was all I was trying to educate you on. Your response is like me saying "The sky is blue today" after you firsttry and tell me it's been overcast all week, and then you respond to me by saying, "Umm, umm, I saw a cloud at lunchtime!" Huh?The only one who strayed off the topic was you when you wanted to counter mypoint that many items are not made in america. Which is why I dont shop there as much as others do. I shop at stores that actually carry sony. This I will agree on. People shouldn't whine about "83% of Walmart's inventory is foreign" or whatever the original post stated, if they'restill gonna buy the product. There *are* American alternatives, if one iswilling to pay for them which is kind of the point I was trying to make.I buy import cars.I buy import electronicsAnd until America's manufacturers realize that they lose 80% of their marketshare to foreign competitors and provide QUALITY items. i will never investor buy anything 100% american. And American sizing sucks ( not everyon isCindy Crawford)
