ISP Information:
A list of computers and peripherals that have been tested by Microsoft to work with Windows NT or Windows 2000. If you run those operating systems on equipment that is not listed on the HCL, it is not guaranteed to work, but it might. Basically, if you install NT/2000 on hardware that's not on the HCL, you are on your own. However, it is done frequently with decent success. ISP Glossary:

I mean, I always thought the "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Services" was implied in restaurants even though there wasn't a sign. I asked at the counter - and they said they had a lot of construction workers who come in. Sheesh - I'd especially want constructions workers wearing a shirt - and not smearing their sweaty back all over the booth. I called their headquarters to find out their policy, and they said they didn't have one. So is it me, or am I being too picky?Yup. Too picky.
