ISP Information:
This term describes the Internet's addressing scheme, and also a security construct in Windows operating systems. For the Internet, domains are represented by domain names such as Geek.com or UGeek.org. These domains are mapped to TCP/IP addresses by DNS servers so that browsers can find websites. Under Windows, domains are groups of server and client machines that exist in the same security structure. You can also defin ISP Glossary:

I tried it, no dice. I get "Handshake failed", I'm unsure whether thismeans "I can't talk to the modem" or "I talked to the modem, I didn't like whatI found". The README makes it clear this is a V.34+ upgrade not a V.90. Did USR/3COM ever produce an ISA V.90 Courier?Yes, I owned two of them, one is now with my Sister-in-law and the other isa backup for my cablemodem. I read the txt file and got the same impressionas you."Handshake failed" can be any number of things, including a failure to findthe modem (wrong port used by software) to modem mismatch (wrong firmwarefor the modem). One of the problems is that these things were supposed to be upgraded yearsago. Support for upgrading Couriers since USR was spun off 3Com was prettymuch dropped.I can only suggest you try to contact the USR rep in the UK and work fromthere. I realize that hasn't been productive so far but I don't know whatelse to advise at this point.--Hooda Gest"In a New York minute, everything can change..."
