Air gap - At the time of joining Linda Evans fitness my wife signed a contract,a 2 year agreement of some sort with a out clause.. that said that thecontract can be broken if we move out of the area. We moved out ofCalifornia to the east coast many years ago.. but still keep receivinginvoices from Linda Evans.. and they keep adding membership dues everymonth..When I called them and asked to cancel the membership, they asked mefor a voided check from my bank..I refused to do that out of fear thatthey will start deducting money from my checking account and otherprivacy issues. This was couple of years back and even to this daythey keep sending invoices. I have ignored them until now, but lookingat the amount due that keeps increasing, I am starting to get a bitrattled.What should I do since I am worried that 10years from now, they willkeep sending me invoices and by then the amount on the invoice wouldbe $10K and up.. What if I move and not give a forwarding address? Itried this but somehow they got hold of my forwarding address from thepost office and now, keep hounding me with the invoices.. This time Iam thinking of moving and not give a forwarding address even to thepost office.. any ideas on how to best deal with this situation? thankyou.
