VESA - I have a Sprint account whose contract expires in January. It is my "second" number used mostly for call out. I want to move my primary number from ATT to Sprint with a new phone. If I am a new customer, there is a $100 rebate on the new phone (with a 1 year contract) if I activate before Dec 31, which I'm prepared to do, but no rebate if I simply move it to my old account. Can I overlap -- open a "new" account as a second one now and let the contract expire on the old acct in January? Or do I need to have a period in between?I suspect that if you call or drop by and say "I'll move my AT&Tnumber to you and sign up for a year's contract if you give me the$100 rebate offer", they'll say yes in a millisecond.
