ISP Information:
A fiber optic network in a ring topology, often used to carry voice signals or Internet traffic. One ring is described as hot, or carrying data. The other ring is the protect--or standby--ring that transmits data in the opposite direction in case of service degradation or a fiber cut. Typically, within 50 milliseconds of a failure SONET equipment on the edge of the failing segment attempts to construct a new ring using a ISP Glossary:

Laws againstyelling fire in a theatre aren't even necessary and are a foot in thedoorof infringing free speech. First of all, the theatre is private propertysothe 1st Amendment doesn't even apply. I can dictate to anyone what theycanand can't say on my property or they can leave. Secondly, if they causeinjury by yelling it, they can be prosecuted or sued. If they don't andeveryone looks around and sees there's no fire, they can tell them toshutthe hell up and kick them out of the theatre. No laws against it needed. In a free nation, government has no authority to forbid me from speakingbecause I might shout "fire" in a crowded theater. Government has noauthority to forbid me from using my fist to defend myself because Imightalso use it to strike your nose. And government has no authority toforbidme from owning a firearm because I might shoot an innocent victim. -CAState Senator Tom McClintock You really need to decide whether you are going to respond as yourself, or as your sock puppet.
