ISP Information:
An extension of 10BaseT that runs 10 times faster than 10BaseT over copper wire. It's theoretically capable of 100Mbps transmission speed. The drawback for some installations is that it requires more expensive Category 5 cable to run at high speeds, where 10BaseT will run on Category 3, 4, or 5 cable. ISP Glossary:
100BaseT - On Thu, 06 Nov 2003 15:08:24 GMT, brewhaha@ecn.ab.ca put finger tokeyboard and composed: Unfortunately, it's the one with the cracked volume varistor(actually, they're both cracked, but the new one is worse), so thatI can't always hear the thing dialing in.My understanding is that varistors haven't been used for loop currentcompensation since the advent of electronic telephones. Do you perhapsmean "volume potentiometer"?- Franc Zabkar--Please remove one 's' from my address when replying by email.
