It will call the chip the Mobile Extreme Convergencearchitecture, or MXC.The aim of the chip, the company says, is to give makers of mobilephones and devices that combine mobile phone and wireless dataconnections, and other sophisticated features, the ability to cut downon the number of components they need to get the job done.
