Graphical User Interface - Anybody know what causes Hyperterminal to lock up curing dialup sessionswith VT100 emmulation? I've had lots of suggestions of what to try frommembers of the FreeNet who don't know the answer. I'm not the only memberwho has reported the problem. The software locks up for a minute or so,then continues communications, only to lock up again after a few seconds.The modem and telephone connection are fine because they work with PPPdialup on the same computer. At the FreeNet end there is a Sun/OS systemand some sort of terminal server. This is not a recent problem which wasworkigg okay previoulsy. The problem has been there since I started usingthis computer a year ago. (I only use Hyperterminal occassionally as I domost of my dialup VT100 communications on anotehr computer running DOS andBitcom.)So the problem isn't communication speed or error checking.
