The type of parent who raises juvies would probably tell the kid to hide the bar back inside the box on the shelf, at the back, and just walk out. Presumably she takes the cost of the candy bar out of the kid's hide (or piggy bank) at home. Yeah, what she said...while I've been reading everyone's posts criticizing SlinkyToy and her parenting, I've been thinking about all of the loose, unattended snots I've seen tearing through store aisles, eating from open packages of cookies and candy, and the subsequent cast off open packages stashed in the aisles, ripping open bags of dog food and throwing kibble at each other (and these were teenagers ! ) and worse. We may recoil from ST's kid's behavior, but I give her props for being on top of the kid enough to catch the stolen bar, and then own up to it with the cashier.Read the 2nd sentence below and tell me what it means. What results do you think she's talking about that they, the store, have to deal with? I think she is saying the store has to deal witha customer who refuses to pay."On more than one occasion I've been "too slow to stop him" and handedan open, missing-one-bite candy bar to the cashier. I'm of theopinion that if they load the check-out aisles with child temptations, they need to deal with the results."Don
