ISP Information:
A means of contacting a remote network and becoming a node on that network. The problem with remote access is that the connection to the network is generally slow, such as over the Internet, so copying or working with large files is slower than when you are directly connected. The advantage is that the minimum hardware requirement is one server or remote access piece of hardware that can control many remote access lines. ISP Glossary:
Remote Access - "hakim soso" wrote We are an ISP which are providing dialup service & some of our customers complaining that they are their conections are stopped many times, how we can test this disconnection if it is from our side or from the client side? You're charging people to use you for access, but you don't even know howto test your own equipment? Give everyone their money back, and leave theISP business to those who know what they're doing, or have taken the timeto learn BEFORE taking people's money.
