Been busy...shooting squirrels and other dumb stuff...but I haven't forgotten you and realized I had forgotten to tell you about an IPA that we bought in a state that I can't remember when my neighbor and I took the cross country trip to Virgina. It was labeled a fine beer from the south...I am not going there to discredit anyone...but if this was a fine beer I don't want to taste the rest. It is an IPA named YEE-HAW. Out of a four pack there are two sitting in the beer fridge...known around here as the doomsday beer...if you are going to die, might as well drink it; but if there is something else, let those UFO folks have a go.
The ducks, mostly the chickens have started laying and the calendar is recording the progress.

The weather is incredible and the air has softened, perfect for shooting squirrels. This has been a very easy winter and it cannot be blamed on climate change...it is typical of this area....some hard some soft.

Love you all and hope you had a wonderful Valentines day...Remember to thank God and pray for the nation and one another.

That YEE-HAW sounds like a true DEE-LITE. Both January and February have been dry...and it is getting fairly warm up here...not completely unusual...but not typical either...we may be back to the dry year set. Hope you had a grand Valentine Day. Yes, our nation needs prayers. God bless you.

MWALA never drink YEE-HAW...unless you are desperate...similar to thunder bird or night train...cotton balls in the morning; mouth or brain, not good. Seek menudo or IBPROPHEN and a very hot shower, before or after you try recover, but menudo is the best and first.

Love the nation and pray, God is watching

All you folks born in leap year...it is once again your birthday...or anniversary; may you receive four times the expected gifts...and four beer to play catch up. Have a friend take you home.
Pray for one another and pray for the nation; we are still under God.

Hard to start without embarrassment clogging the gears. There was one more IPA purchased at the same time we took hold of the Yeehaw...it has been tucked away the same as the yeehaw (I don't apologize for the lower case), but is drinkable. Sweet Water brewing company 420 strain; G13 IPA at 6%, with a prehistoric looking fish on the label. Use caution...

The weather has been non inflammatory, despite the thunderbird chick...typical non typical year. The squirrel count is going up...nailed the last one at 78 yards.

ducks laid four eggs today and the chickens two..............

Pray for the nation, pray for one another and for the children

This caught my eye the other day. It will have to wait until Lent is past.

Mwala, I have had that before but recall is not functioning; is it possible you can give us a break down on your thoughts while flavor testing the Eyeball. That has got to be a strange sentence in any other forum.

It appears that the virus has caused a lot of people to go bonkers...and you don't even have to be infected. So glad to see that are local and federal level agents have everything well in hand...had to clear my throat...again. Love those experts.

Egg production has improved.

Please pray, for the nation, for those around you, for Gods healing hand, and for wisdom.

MWALA now that lent is over can you give us a review on those lovely bottles you purchased...stocked up on Hamm's and Coors and small amount of Negra Modelo.

The ducks and chickens are doing good...just, not always or in a regular pattern that we can claim as normal. But then you remember they have a grey drop between their eyes that passes as a brain; and you go 'oh yeah' and pull the beer out of the holders...cottage cheese tub screwed to the posts...and take a sip and give it the 'okie dokie' ding dongs and all is good.

Summer is ramping up and my joints are singing "glory, glory, glory".

God loves you no matter what happens...so pray for me, for one another, and the nation..........love you all

Well Amen to that. The Hairy Eyeball is delightfully smooth at 9.1% ABV. My wife has an aversion to the heavy hops of IPAs, but she was quite pleased with this. I wound up giving her more of the bottle than I intended! It is a pleasing dark color with a short head...but it is a bit more bubbly than say Guinness nitro. I have a lot of beer in the shed. The last of the Tecate from last summer is finally gone. I have most of almost a variety case of Sierra Nevada...a half dozen of the aforementioned Guinness. The Apocalypse IPA and a good part of a Kona Longboard 12 pack (a purchase to balance the heavy presence of IPAs in the Sierra Nevada pack).

The Apocalypse is a decent IPA...with grapefruity hops flavor. Not really anything special neither world's end or any sudden revelation. The bottle did make a nice prop for a short film bit I contributed to a Greek fellow's Corona Virus film project.

Mwala thank you for the reviews...liked that no revelation line. Hope the bottle of Apocalypse got a supporting actor award...can only imagine how the whole thing went down, and how it opened. If it was only bottles or the first and last bottles that would be some thing to watch with a Corona and salsa on corn chips.

The ducks and chickens are producing but not up to ability...tried talking to them...coyotes are hungry...the other side of the fence is one step away...hope they are listening.

Love all of you; please pray for the nation and each other and me...Gods blessing on all of you

In the time I've been gone had a birthday and got older...not that it took the calendar; this past winter was hard on me. Then in a fifteen minute period we lost both vehicles...then the well went (maybe heaven maybe hell) did not matter we where without the most precious thing...water. We have good neighbors and the well guys are really good when it comes to an emergency...remember, we have ducks and chickens and they need water. Something we can work around and they cannot. The sound of water is at the top of the list...a call to the human heart...the body seeking immersion. Turn your water off for two days and you will understand. There are a couple other things, but that is enough for now.

The nation seems to have turned itself upside down...is there anyone out there that is level headed...is anyone praying any more.

The nation need your prayers as do all of us...have a cold one and talk to the Lord.

God bless you all

Good to hear you are still getting older. Sounds like a bit of a time, there. Have not been without water...my neighbor has a well, sometimes he hooks up a hose to my faucet to get it primed after the electricity has been off. We shall see if P.G. & E. is doing that again for fire season. Should not be too bad without hot water this time of year, though...pretty chilly last fall. May the Lord bless and keep you...
